I hope you still remember me. I've been a member since Jan 1986 and a few times I've shared how incredibly wonderful I find the CU service. It's like having a personal banker! And, when I compare my experiences with those of friends of mine who're with large commercial banks I'm incredulous that they'd put up with a too-frequent lack of professionalism.
So, all that said, I've been meaning to express those feelings to you and, moreover, specifically single out two employees whom I've never met in person but who continue to guide me on any issues or questions I may have with my account: Dora and Maria. Their service-minded attitude and helpful demeanor is beyond superb. It's people like them who leave you with the knowledge that there are still some who take pride in their work.
If you have any kind of acknowledging them, please do so. And know that this, by no means, detracts from a couple of others who somewhat similarly express the spirit of the credit union.

Hello, my name is Brian and I am a customer of the FIU Credit Union and a full-time faculty member and /instructor at FIU. All of us live busy lives and rarely find time to set down write a letter about exceptional service one received from someone but I feel the need to do that. A couple of years ago my wife and I worked with Maria Eva Gomez-Pinto through the MMC location of the FIU Credit Union to buy a car. Truthfully buying a car is not always an easy or a fun experience and can be stressful in many ways however, Maria made the process a real pleasure. She provides excellent customer service, is a patient, understanding, caring person, and helps to work through the application process until the end to try and make it work for the customer. My wife and I still talk about what a great experience we had working with her. We have spoken with her since buying that car regarding suggestions of mortgage brokers and a few other various financial questions regarding car loans and she is always more than willing to help and is available. I know many financial institutions would not give a person this personal type of service but Maria does and we appreciate it.
My wife and I are considering purchasing a second car soon and as you know a person has many financing options when it comes to buying a car and Maria was on the top of my list of people to work with if we decide to proceed with the FIU Credit Union. I think it does matter who you work with to make buying a car a good experience. After we purchased our car with her a few years ago I intended to send this letter to her supervisor but simply got busy with so many other things that I did not have the opportunity. Although a bit belated, as Maria's supervisor I thought I would take a moment to tell you what a wonderful employee you have working for you and we are glad to have had the opportunity to work with her. The people who work for an organization are what make it really work and more importantly whether or not customers return. Maria is certainly one of those people you have working for you that provide customers with a great experience and are happy they worked with her and the FIU Credit Union. Even if we do not get another loan or were not approved for a second loan with the FIU Credit Union, I still would have no reservations in sending this letter to you that should have come sooner. Just letting you know you have a great employee working for you and her customers appreciate what she does for them. Thank you for your time.

I am extremely happy with my car buying experience with Auto Advisors that I felt it was mandatory to share my experience. The process was easy, they took care of everything!
All I had to do is discuss how much I can afford to pay and give down, pick the car I wanted (make and model) and the color I preferred; they do the rest! They definitely save you time and money. It was a no haggle experience, the only time I visited the dealership was to test drive the cars and compare. They did all the negotiations, they waived the dealer fees, delivered my new car to my work place, had all the paper work ready for me to sign, had my tag and registration transferred and they even called my insurance company to make sure my car was insured AND it doesn’t stop there ~ they also returned my old lease to the dealership.
I definitely recommend them and if you know any family or friends that can benefit from Auto Advisors, please refer. You will be completely satisfied with their service. Guaranteed!
