Take Care - Use ATMs Safely

Memorize your PIN. Do not write it down anywhere, and do not let anyone borrow your card and PIN. Remember, your PIN is the only way that someone else could get access to your account. When you're using an ATM, shield the ATM with your body so that the person behind you cannot see you enter your PIN.

Be alert and aware of your surroundings. If something seems suspicious, cancel the transaction immediately and take your card. If possible, have a friend accompany you while you're using the ATM. When you receive your cash, immediately put it in a pocket out of sight and count it later. Do not stay at the ATM and count your cash.

Please remember to leave enough money in your account to clear any outstanding checks or automatic monthly deductions.

ATM Fees

Transactions at ATMs owned by University Credit Union are free. At non-University Credit Union ATMs, the first transaction per month is free.  For each transaction after, there is a $1.00 fee. Transactions at ATMs not owned by University Credit Union may incur an additional surcharge from the ATM owner. This fee is not collected or controlled by University Credit Union.
